Join the WORLDPAC Automotive Replacement Parts Catalog Development Team!  This position is located at WORLDPAC’s corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, IL.  This is a great opportunity to put your automotive parts and / or service knowledge and experience to work at the corporate / wholesale level.

Responsibilities

The OEM Catalog Content & Interchange Analyst researches, develops, and maintains the WORLDPAC OE / Original Equipment Web Based automotive replacement parts catalog and associated part number data bases.  

  • Researches OE Part Numbers and vehicle fitment information using OE factory parts cataloging and other resources.
  • Identifies and categorizes product part type(s).
  • Creates and maintains the part number data base – including supersedence.
  • Creates and maintains catalog look ups / application sets that meet strict WORLDPAC / ACES catalog form, function and style - standards and business rules.     
  • Troubleshoots catalog problem reports including identifying the driver(s) of suspect end product offerings and forwarding them over to the process owner for review.
  • Reviews and revises system generated OE Part Number to supplier product interchanges.
  • Interacts with numerous company departments: Product Development, Purchasing, Customer First, Operations, Quality Assurance and Sales.

Qualifications

  • Objective assessment of priorities within one’s own list of projects and initiatives.
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined.

  • Computer literate and proficient - ideally in data base centered software application(s).
  • Understanding of research, categorization and classification concepts and processes.
  • Actual experience with cataloging and/or organizational data base applications is a plus.
  • General automotive design and mechanical systems knowledge base a plus.
  • Automotive replacement parts, aftermarket and/or OE, in a retail or wholesale/distribution and / or repair facility environment experience a plus.
  • ACES environment related experience is highly desirable.

Pay Range

USD $61,000.00 - USD $81,500.00 /Yr.
