We are now hiring an experienced Commercial Delivery Driver with BOX Truck experience. with  This role is responsible for delivering Oversized products to our customer locations within a designated delivery market.

WORLDPAC is the leader within the Automotive Replacement Parts. Our business focus is wholesale only, this position does not require Automotive Parts Experience: no retail business & no Sunday work.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities.

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting safely.
  • Operate a variety of Classes of trucks (Box trucksof different sizes).
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Proper placarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOT requirements/regulations.
  • Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
  • Follow all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations and rules.
  • Safely operate vehicles following U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
  • Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
  • Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
  • Will be required to complete all training within the first 10 days of employment.
  • All associates have the responsibility to follow rules and guidelines outlined in the Company Policies, Procedures, and Code of Conduct, as well as a moral obligation to look out for the safety and well-being of their fellow associates. Associates also have the responsibility to report violations of the Policies and Procedures and report any safety concerns to their supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

Needed Requirements

  • Valid California Class C 
  • Ability to use various mobile devices.
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements.
  • Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial driver experience.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
  • Previous Hazmat experience.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission.
  • Previous manual labor experience.
