Job Description:
The Regional Sales Manager works in collaboration with the Regional Sales Directors in leading the Outbound Sales team with planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development and programs specific to assigned sales territories.
Additionally, the Regional Sales Manager administers both short and long-range sales strategies targeted towards existing and future markets and customer accounts to increase sales and company growth.
Identifies new market opportunities and develops the short and long-term strategic plans needed to maximize profits and facilitate company growth.
Provides senior leadership with essential information and prepares accurate and timely sales reports and departmental budgets.
Maintains long-term relationships with customers and strategic business partners.
Recommends new products and markets with marketing and financial rationale.
Coordinates strategic planning and execution activities with Sales and Operations Teams, and all other departments as needed, to achieve objectives.
Continuously communicating and maintaining a positive working relationship with Regional Sales and Operations Directors.
Microsoft Office.
Capability to use basic business mathematics and analyze business reports.
Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure.
Excellent negotiation, organizational and prioritization skills.
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to respond to and interact with internal and external customers across all levels of the organization.
Ability to analyze issues and think strategically, and effectively manage and facilitate change.
Working knowledge of automotive systems and traditional automotive aftermarket, including WorldPac products and services.
Capability to conceptualize and execute sales programs and strategies.
4-6 years of automotive aftermarket related sales or sales management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of prior leadership experience.
Occasional travel required – approximately one week per quarter.
Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
Able to effectively use Microsoft Office.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Eligible to work in the United States.
